Specializing in Industrial Manufacturing—Since 1949
For more than 67 years, Red Streak Corporation has provided cost-effective supply chain solutions for our customers. The company was originally founded by John Folk in 1946 as KC Bolt, Nut, & Screw Co. During World War II, Folk purchased products for gliders—and discovered that there was no supplier available in Kansas City for fasteners. At the time, the only suppliers available were located in Chicago or on the East Coast. A business was born, and the company became the first full-line fastener distributor in the Kansas City area, producing thousands of different fasteners over the years.
In the 1990s, the business evolved as customers required new and different services. The company began offering more supply chain services—such as metal stamping and machining—to fit their customers’ changing needs. The name changed to Red Streak Corporation, and expanded the focus to providing a full-service, domestic manufacturing solutions that reduce customers’ total cost-of-ownership and time-to-market on new products.
Today, second-generation owner Bryan Folk successfully leads a team of supply chain specialists and engineers who provide a comprehensive line of services—including precision machining, injection molding, metal fabrication, electrical wiring and cabling, and sub-assemblies—for hundreds of different products nationwide. From creating a single part—to producing a complex sub-assembly—our integrated approach today ensures that customers receive continuous communication, quality-assured products, and value for their investment.
